Another Norfolk Southern train has derailed, this time in Van Buren Township, #Michigan, just outside of #Detroit.

News reporting that the train was "carrying hazardous materials," however officials claim "no train cars containing hazardous materials were compromised" - you know, beside the whole fucking train derailing.

Getting this shot took a lot of planning!
Every sunset, this #burrowingowl would leave its burrow under the graffitied seawall at Ocean Beach, fly to a random perch, sit there for a few seconds and fly into the dark to hunt. Every night, I’d lay flat in front of a potential perch to get the shot. This was taken on the night I finally picked the same perch as the owl. (Repost. Previously posted on now-deleted server).
